WHAT TO EXPECT
Community groups are for those who are looking for a deeper and richer connection with God, and for those wanting to meet some fun people along the way.
How often do Groups meet?
Community groups meet once a month in the Spring and Fall months.
THE FALL 2025 COMMUNITY GROUPS WILL MEET THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH IN AUGUST THROUGH NOVEMBER.
Where do they meet?
We have various Community Groups in Emory, Alba, Yantis, and Quitman. Specific addresses are given when Community Groups are open.
What happens at a Group?
Typically the Community Group begins with a time of fellowship and sometimes groups share a meal together as well. A video of Pastor Zach is shown and the Facilitator for your group will ask a set of questions. This allows the group to discuss and provide input outloud.
Who will be in my Group?
People from your local area will attend your Community Group. We have a couple of family friendly groups, as well.

THE SHIRLEY'S COMMUNITY GROUP IS FULL
YANTIS
THE SHIRLEYS
David and Karlee Shirley's Home is family friendly. Several parents with young children and toddlers will be in attendance. The Shirleys start off with fellowship and a meal. Everyone brings a dish to share. After the meal, the Community Group starts their community group lesson and discussion. Chance France serves as the facilitator for this group.
The Shirley's Group meets on Sundays at 4:30 P.M.

THE POTTS
The Potts would love to welcome you to their home in Emory, Texas at 4:30 P.M on the third Sunday of each month this Fall. The facilitator for this group is pending.

THE CRENSHAWS
The Crenshaws invite you to their home in Emory, Texas at 12 P.M. after the Sunday Morning Worship service. The facilitator for this group is Lance Nail.

QUITMAN
THE WEEMS
Howdy! We’re Kevin and Leah Weems. The group that meets in our home is comprised of people from all walks of life, who are eager to grow in Christ together. Our prayer and intention is for people to step into our home knowing they are welcomed and loved, and to leave refreshed and encouraged. We meet Sundays at 5:30 where we begin with a delicious potluck meal, then move into Bible study and discussion, which will be led by Charles and Sissie Patrick.
