CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The heart of Preschool & Children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. The Children's Department exists to assist parents in guiding their child's spiritual development. It is our goal to help your child connect with God, to know that God loves and cares for us, and wants our trust and obedience. Part of our goal is to help your child respond by trusting Jesus as Savior; by thanking, serving, and praising God; by believing God's promises and obeying His commands.

Who's Involved?

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through sixth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.


Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

How Should I Prepare My Kids?

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into our Children's Ministry. Our Children's Ministry is located on the south end of our campus. Parents/Guardians will be asked to check each child in on our computer system and print out a name tag and a claim tag will be given to present at Check-Out. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child by signing them out with their teacher.

    PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN'S MINISTER

    Sharon was called to Lake Fork Baptist Church in 2018. She has two daughters along with several grandchildren. She enjoys being the hands and feet to the children of God's Kingdom. Sharon is a homemade bread-making aficionado and she enjoys reading.
